Dell XPS 15 7590 vs 9570
Although the machined aluminium chassis in the new 7590 version is practically the same as the previous 9570 model there has been a small yet very important and welcome change; the newly improved webcam is now situated in the bezel on the top edge of the display. This allows for a much more pleasing to the eye, video conference experience.
For those who like to do a bit of gaming on the side, the graphics have been upgraded to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650. This card offers a decent performance bump over the previous model, equating to roughly an extra 10 fps in high settings in some of the latest games.
The 2W each stereo speakers come with Waves MaxxAudio® Pro Tuning. The power button features a built-in fingerprint reader for security. Other features include Killer AX1650 WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. There are two battery options: 56WHr and 97WHr.
Deep contrast: The OLED display option’s self-lighting pixels can switch off completely to achieve perfect black for significantly higher contrast, an astronomical 100,000:1, so content comes alive with breathtaking detail especially in dark areas. Visuals are more true to life with wider colour range, making it great for content creators.
I’m ordering one of these and you can expect a mini review soon.
